In Addition to the practice of Law Richard A. Pundt has served on the Board of Directors of Lawchek and enlighten technologies since 1994 when he helped develop the initial company concepts. He is currently the company President and CEO of enlighten technologies inc. For over forty years he has been an active member of the legal sector in various capacities, including: a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a prosecuting attorney, a private practitioner, and as corporate counsel. Mr. Pundt created the original templates for the various legal forms that were developed by the company for the legal community and marketed through MacMillan, Prentiss Hall, Thorndike, Simon & Schuster, and Spectrum Books.
Mr. Pundt, who holds several patents, various trademarks and numerous copyrighted items, has also authored two books relating to the law and one novel. He has been a lecturer and presenter at numerous continuing legal education seminars and has written various published articles relating to limited liability companies. Mr. Pundt has handled major litigation in seven Midwestern states. He has been listed in Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in American Law, as well as, being identified as one of the Top Lawyers in Iowa by several services and publications. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctor Degree from Drake University.
Mr. Pundt has previously been politically active at the state level for various successful political campaigns for presidential, congressional, gubernatorial, and local candidates. He has also served as the president of several local charitable organizations and service clubs. His interests include tennis, gardening, opera, classical music, and travel with his wife Joyce.

In addition to Vincent A. Pundt Law Practice, Vincent has served on the Board of Directors of Lawchek and Enlighten technologies since 1994 and is the Executive Vice President of enlighten technologies, inc. He has over 23 years of technical product development and design, including the initial concept and formulation of specific convergence technology, that is deployed throughout the secure and proprietary vault platform t that serves as the underlying platform for each of the company products. He currently leads the company’s policy guidelines, intellectual property development, product protection, and the vault security systems.
Due to Mr. Pundt’s innovative development concepts relative to a particular form of convergence technology ( the blending of telecommunications, document transfer and document collaboration), he has become an industry leader relative to advanced technological innovation that provides practical applications that are useful to various industry verticals (law, medicine, insurance, and banking). To date, Mr. Pundt’s unique vault platform design is the only system that allows each member of an industry vertical to interact securely with others within an industry without the need for special training and without the need to engage in periodic downloads and/or upgrades to particular electronic devises.
Over the course of the past few years, Mr. Pundt has written specific articles and presented detailed lectures that amplify the vital need for security in regard to existing fiduciary relationships between professionals and their clients. As an attorney, he has been extremely mindful of the need for confidential, direct, and unencumbered interaction between members of the legal community, as well as similar interaction between participants within other professional communities such as medicine, insurance, and banking.
Mr. Pundt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctor Degree from the William Mitchell College of Law (now known as Mitchell-Hamline Law School). He is a licensed attorney in the State of Iowa.
